Supercritical Spice Extraction
RAPS was the first German seasoning factory with their own supercritical
spice extraction plant
BIOFROST Chilled Grinding Method
Sensitive raw materials deteriorate during conventional grinding methods. The BIOFROST
chilled grinding however, offers gentle processing of raw materials in an isolated
nitrogen atmosphere at minus 196 °C
Liquid Plant
The standardized quality and time-saving advantages of RAPS' liquid seasonings,
marinades, injection brines, stabilizers and binders ensure their popularity
within the industry
Glutamin
As early as the 1950's RAPS used the Asian flavour enhancer Glutamate in Europe
and developed Glutalin
Coatec and Flavocaps
When sensitive raw materials and flavours are volatile or difficult to process, the
coating and Flavocaps technology offers new and fascinating possibilities: coating
of raw materials for protection against undesired reactions, and temperature or
time-controlled release of raw materials. Micro-encapsulation of flavours guarantees
no flavour loss, no chemical reactions and low bacteria count
CPF (Concentrated Powder Form)
A completely new spray technology takes the production of powder form concentrates into
previously unknown dimensions. CPF products are made from liquids or liquid mixtures
HIPREX Nature Line
The antioxidant raw extract made from rosemary is the highly-concentrated intermediate product from which RAPS has developed the natural antioxidants Stabiloton OS and WS
