Food safety is becoming increasingly important in food production worldwide. As a quality and customer oriented company, RAPS has always ensured that the appropriate quality systems are in place. These are audited on a regular basis to maintain updated certifications. Our commitment to new and changing quality systems has become embedded in the company’s philosophy and has become an integral part in the way we operate.

The foundations were built on the DIN EN ISO 2001 certification awarded us in 1993. This system has been constantly maintained and last audited 2006 according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. The HACCP concept has been maintained on the same basis - audited to ensure updated certification.

All these certifications form the basis required by the food industry standards, IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium). These standards have been audited to maintain certification, annually since 2000 (BRC) and 2004 (IFS).

Early on, RAPS recognized the ORGANIC trend and created the infrastructure for the handling of organic products. This certification, which is audited on an annual basis, dates back to 1999.
